Joe Simonton. He went into the yard and saw a flying saucer drop out of the sky and hover over his farm. It was silver and "brighter than chrome," 12 feet in height and 30 feet in diameter. On one edge were what appeared to be exhaust pipes, 6 or 7 inches in diameter. The interior of the UFO was dull black, even the three "extremely beautiful" instrument panels, and had the appearance of wrought iron. The contrast between the dark interior and shiny exterior so fascinated Simonton that he later said that he "would love to have a room painted in the same way."

This UFO was photographed in 1963 by the co-pilot of an AVENSA Airlines DC-4 between Barcelona and Maiquetia in Venezuela. A propeller spinner can be seen in the right foreground, and a highway divides the trees. Fernando de Calvet, a professional topographer and geometrician, demonstrated mathematically that all of the objects in the photograph bear exact relation with each other. Charles Brew, Trevor Brew. It was about eight metres in diameter and three metres high. The top section appeared to be a transparent dome of a glass-like material, from which protruded a two metre high mast or aerial. The 'aerial' appeared to be as thick as a broom and resembled bright chrome. The top portion of the disc itself was battleship grey in colour and appeared to be of metallic lustre. The base or underside section glowed with a pale blue colour and had 'scoop-like protuberances around the outside edge'. This section rotated slowly at about one revolution per second. This spinning motion apparently caused the protuberances to generate a swishing noise, somewhat like a turbine noise, that was clearly audible not only to Brew but also to his son Trevor, who was located inside the shed near the operating diesel-powered milking machine units.

A disc-shaped, domed object was revealed hanging in mid-air in front of them. It had six brightly lit windows and was some 30 feet (9 meters) wide; metallic in appearance, it had a number of sections that were joined together with rivets and seams. The dome was also metallic, but it was darker and had no rivets. The object was rocking gently to and fro. Suddenly a multicolored band began to rotate inside the windows and a witish mist thickened around the object, which emitted a faint hum. The witnesses became aware of a sulfurous smell.
As the band inside the craft rotated faster and faster, they watched while the disc gradually became enveloped in a white mist until all could be seen was an orange-colored cloud.

Mrs. Helen Reed. It was a typical domed disc with a flat bottom. When she first observed it the dome was glowing a soft blue. The object then moved erratically away from the barn and the dome turned a bright red orange in color. It then executed several sharp right angle turns and disappeared behind her shed. She estimated that the object was no more than 15 feet in diameter and she later described a series of round, yellow lights that encircled the base. She said that these lights were "brighter than headlights" but caused her no discomfort as she observed them.

Dennis Crowe. In the distance, he began to see a glow, and as he moved closer, he could make out the shape of a disc-shaped object, sitting on legs on the sandy beach.
Crowe guessed the object's diameter at 20 feet, and he could now see a glowing blue-green hue rim around it, with the craft's two parts a dullish gray. The top appeared to be a transparent dome. The disc shaped craft was sitting silently. The only sound he heard at the time was barking from some dogs. They were barking directly at the object. Crowe had made his first observations at several hundred feet, and as he came to within about 60 feet, the object lifted itself from the ground. Crowe could now hear a sound..a sound like air being forced out of a balloon.

On August 3, 1965, Rex Heflin took three photographs of a UFO, using a Polaroid camera, through the windscreen of his truck (he was a highway traffic inspector) near Santa Ana, California, USA. A fourth photograph shows a smoke ring which the UFO allegedly left when it departed.
On 3-Aug-1965 about 12:30pm, Rex E. Heflin, age 38, a highway maintainance engineer for the Orange County road department, spotted an unusual object approaching the road. He stopped his truck, grabbed the camera off the seat beside him and shot three pictures as rapidly as possible. As the object moved away, Heflin scrambled out of the truck and took his fourth and final picture of a "smoke ring". Heflin tried to contact his office by radio while the UFO was near his vehicle, but the radio refused to operate. Heflin estimated the UFO to be ~20ft in diameter and ~700ft away and said a rotating light was apparent underneath the UFO.

Drawing made by Deputy Strauch to indicate details he visually saw with the binoculars.
At least five witnesses reported seeing this glowing ball of light over Minnesota in 1965. The incident was investigated by the U.S. Air Force but never explained.
Sheriff's deputy Arthur Strauch drew this picture of the object he photographed in St. George, Minnesota, in 1965. (Strauch's photograph appears on page 315.) The craft was also seen by his wife, his son and two friends. (22)
Strauch stated: "The round top of the dome was a metallic-silver gray that reflected the rays of the setting sun, turning the object into a large orange ball. Surrounding the dome were four small portholes that emitted a bright yellow light. Just below the window or ports was an area that glowed a light blue. This light seemed to be a reflection of some inner light or perhaps exhaust. From the edge of the blue light's reflection to the edge of the flat saucer-like surface (outer edge), the outer ring was rotating counterclockwise, causing it to throw it off an aurora or halo of light that changed from orange to white with an overall tinge of blue and green. The extreme outer edge of the saucer glowed a bright orange, and this part did not move or rotate." - Coral & Jim Lorenzen (18)

He saw a light gray, non-reflecting object, estimated to be 25 feet long and 8 feet thick, rising vertically from marshland. It then climbed at a 45 degree angle from a height of about 30 feet above the marsh surface. The object ascended at a point 75 feet from the witness. He could hear a hissing sound as the UFO climbed. He described it as two saucers, edge to edge.

Henrico County Sheriff A.D. "Toby" Mathews. During the spring and summer of 1966 --when Mathews said he saw a saucerlike object hover over a cornfield near his farm and then disappear in a flash -- more than a half-dozen people, including three other Richmond-area police officers, reported spotting similar objects hovering over the city, Henrico and Goochland County, according to news accounts in The Times-Dispatch and The Richmond News Leader. The craft, which Mathews described as white and about 30 feet in diameter, made hardly a sound and emitted no light. The object was about 4 or 5 feet wide at its widest point, which was in the middle, he said.

Hearing a loud whirring noise, Mrs S waked her husband, who went out and saw a strange object 50 feet in diameter hovering 25 feet above a nearby pond. Shaped like two metallic saucers face to face, and of aluminum like appearance, it had a clear bubble like canopy on the edge of the upper disc facing him; from elongated holes around the rim orange flames were issuing. Inside the canopy, illuminated by a greenish light, he could see the silhouettes of two "lobster claw-like" hands. The witness walked toward it yelling and waving his arms, where upon it moved slowly and silently away; then it began to spin rapidly with a loud whirring sound, tilted at an angle of 30-45 degrees, and took off at a very high speed. He noticed a smell lingering in the air like that from a lighted match.

(Picaco Park) Las Cruces, New Mexico- A New Mexico State University student took this photo of what he says is a UFO, while photographing land formations for a geology class. The picture was taken with a 4x5 press camera at F8 at 1/100/second. He said the object made no noise and disappeared as he looked down to change plates in the camera.
Another description from "Xenophilia.com" website:
About 2:00pm on March 12th, 1967, A New Mexico State University student was hiking in a desert area near Picacho Peak, New Mexico, when he spotted a big round silvery object hovering in the air just above a rocky hill about 500 yards away. He prepared his 4" X 5" Press Camera, set it at F8 and 1/100 shutter speed, and snapped one good black and white picture of the object. It appeared stationary or was moving very little at the time of the photograph. He looked down to change the plates of his camera, needing only 3 seconds, but when he looked back to take another shot, the object was gone. He recalled smelling an electrical odor in the air too!

It has a strange resemblance to an Adamski ship of the 1950s.
UFO photographed by Gabriel Kozora at New Castle, Pennsylvania, USA, on 28th June 1967 while he was photographing his young son. He said the object was about 60 feet long and it hovered overhead for about 15 seconds before heading northwest. Another source says it flew over from south to north. The witness was quoted as saying he was all shook up, wanted no publicity, and believed that the government was responsible for objects.
A salesman (Warren Smith) and two companions, one a 16 y/o boy. Someone spotted a disc-shaped object moving through the air above the tall evergreens. The salesman readied his camera and snapped photographs of the UFO.
The object was described as being “shiny, and approximately 25-feet in diameter.” It had a “silvery hone to it.” One particularly interesting assertion that was made by the RAF was that the UFO object in the photograph “had a toroidal shape. Only the blurred image (plate 62) is pitched up towards the observers, and a light shone not quite centered in the dark disk can be interpreted as a highlight, as opposed to a central hole.”
