17-year old Lyyli Nilsson was cycling to a nearby village, when she felt something warm on her body and soon saw an object which folded out a couple of legs and landed on a ridge. Four persons, wearing strange “equipment” on their backs, like divers, came out. They wore some kind of helmet, which seemed to be fastened to their light colored overalls. They started to dig in the ground and the witness thought they were taking samples. Frightened the witness fled on her bicycle.
Salvador Villanueva. The UFO looked like 2 soup plates joined at the rim, with a shallow dome with portholes, & rested on three spheres. He was invited in, but refused.

A woman saw 2 objects on the ground and 3 1.5-meter tall men running toward the craft. They had oversized heads and wore helmets and boots. One entered the elongated object, 5 m long, 1.5 m wide, which spread ‘wings” that made it look like a butterfly. It then took a vertical position, resting on a tripod, and took off with the spherical object into which the other 2 creatures had gone. Traces were found at the spot.

Marie-Louise. The object did not touch the ground as it seemed to rest on a kind of tripod. It was about 1m to 1.50m in height, at the level of the fir trees near the branches. The size comparable to that of a large car.

Rosa Lotti nei Dainelli. Arriving in the middle of a small clearing among the shrubs and sparse trees, she suddenly beheld, near a pine tree and on the edge of the little grassy area, a strange and unwonted object that at once aroused in her both curiosity and surprise. It was a sort of huge spindle, fixed vertically in the ground.

Fr. William Gill. Four "men" illuminated by blue light on top of hovering disc-shaped craft with four legs; responded to waves by witnesses.
Marianne Hatzenbuhler. The two witnesses returned inside their home and watched the landed UFO through a window using a pair of binoculars. Hatzenbuhler could clearly see discern a round structure that sat on landing struts.

Maurice Masse. An oval-shaped structure resting on four legs. In its wake the object left a deep hole and a moist area that soon hardened like concrete.

Dennis Crowe. In the distance, he began to see a glow, and as he moved closer, he could make out the shape of a disc-shaped object, sitting on legs on the sandy beach.
Crowe guessed the object's diameter at 20 feet, and he could now see a glowing blue-green hue rim around it, with the craft's two parts a dullish gray. The top appeared to be a transparent dome. The disc shaped craft was sitting silently. The only sound he heard at the time was barking from some dogs. They were barking directly at the object. Crowe had made his first observations at several hundred feet, and as he came to within about 60 feet, the object lifted itself from the ground. Crowe could now hear a sound..a sound like air being forced out of f a balloon.

Harold Lenz was driving to work in Winsted when the engine of his pick up truck stalled. He got out to check under the hood and saw a brightly luminous object, 75 feet long by 30 feet wide, approach, and land on 3 legs on the highway. It made a loud whirring noise. Something like an elevator descended from the bottom, and a man walked out dressed in a silver-blue, tight fitting coverall suit with a "fish-bowl" helmet over his head. He was about average height and human appearing. The occupant seemed to examine something on the object, and then got back into the UFO, which took off. Duration was 3-4 minutes.

Claude Edwards. The object was resting on a gray-green circular shaft which extended from the bottom center. The central shaft was the same color as the body of the object, tubular in shape, extending from the underneath section and positioned in the center of the circular base. The central shaft was 3 feet in diameter and 3 feet tall.
As he watched the object for several minutes it suddenly and silently rocked back toward him slightly three times. On the third time it lifted quickly off the ground. The central shaft was seen going into the base until it was flush and invisible to the eye.

At 11:30 p.m. Antonio Brambila and another man in Milan, Italy saw a glow coming from a domed disc-shaped UFO, 6.5 meters in diameter and 2.5 meters high. The UFO had four telescopic legs, which emitted a strange vibration.
Stanley Moxon. Three 3- to 4-ft tall beings, white garb, translucent helmets from disc with three legs, gathered specimens.
Francois Delpeuch (13) and his sister Anne-Marie (9). No details were noticed on the sphere itself; it was perfectly smooth, without marking or visible opening. The little beings seemed to pass through the wall of the sphere. The only detail noticed, and one of the points of difference in the children's stories, was by Anne-Marie. She says she saw beneath ihe machine a landing gear consisting of three or four straight legs, equipped with round "shoes" 10 cm. in diameter. They were no longer \ isible beneath the machine in flight. Anne-Marie did not sec them retract into the machine. One minute they were there, the moment after, they were there no longer. It may be thought that, as the machine rose and the intensity of the light increased to a point where it was unbearable, the visible details of the object would have been swamped by this dazzling light, which would explain why Francois, with his sensitive eyes, could not see the legs at the point of take-off, since at that instance the machine was very luminous.

Two young men, P. Aliranta and E J Sneck, were working in the woods when Aliranta noticed a 15 foot metallic object, shaped like two saucers put together, and with four thin legs, descending in a clearing 50 feet away. As it landed, a little entity just under 3-foot tall glided to the ground from an opening in the underside; dressed in green one-piece "diver's suit," it wore a helmet with a circular faceplate. It approached the young men, walking on top of the deep snow, and Aliranta moved toward it with his motor saw in hand. Through 3 windows on the upper part of the object, 3 more entities could be seen. The humanoid retreated before Aliranta and was rising into the air under the object when the young man grabbed it by the heel of its boot with its bare hand; he found it burned like a hot iron, and he had to let go at once. As soon as the being was back in the object, it ascended with a slight buzzing sound or hum. Both men felt stiff all over and had difficulty in moving. Four landing leg marks and small footprints were left in the snow.

Two or three 6-ft tall human-like beings moved around a domed disc resting on tripod legs, entered via ladder, took off with humming sound.

Driving toward Warneton, along the French-Belgian border, the witness experiences the failure of lights, engine, and radio. He saw a landed object 150 meters away in a field to his right; the UFO was shaped like a WWI British helmet, was 7 to 10 meters wide and stood on three legs, and had patches of orange luminescence on top with a white light underneath. ...The three beings boarded, the legs withdrew, and the object rose slightly, hovered, then ascended rapidly at a 60 degree angle. A car was then seen approaching, whose driver said he had seen the object and its occupants. As the primary witness drove off, he continued to get poor reception on the car radio. Duration was about 20 minutes.

David Bates, 8, and Steven and Henry Stillie, aged 10 and 7. In a state of petrified amazement, the boys remained at their point of observation about 150 feet from the touchdown site. As the object settled down to land it gave off a blast of hot air that disturbed the ground so violently the boys were covered in a film of dust. Immediately prior to making contact, the object extended short legs, then some action on the part of the machine caused sand and stones to be sucked upwards towards it in a violent swirling manner. A few seconds later, the boys said, "blue sparks came up from the ground as the machine made contact."

Californian Joe Lugo, his wife, daughter and a niece reported seing this craft near his home in 1975; they convinced an investigator from Northwestern University's Center for UFO's of their sincerity.

Masato Kawano (7 years old) and Katsuhiro Yamahata (7 years old). Two 7-year old boys saw a luminous orange aerial object approach, with a "ticking" sound, and land on 3 balls on a nearby vineyard. It was discoidal, 15 ft in diameter & 6 ft high.
A ladder was extended to the ground, & a humanoid slightly over 4 ft tall disembarked.

The two boys ran to the field and saw the object land behind some bushes on three leg like protrusions; it also emitted a white and red light. An oval shaped opening became visible from which a red light shone, then two very tall human like figures emerged.
Mrs Susanne Fortier, with her collie dog, was walking on the lawn behind her house. Hearing a "wind or whistle," she observed a small object land in the vicinity of the children's playhouse. It was about five feet in diameter, with 8 "pods or legs," windows or doors all around it, and an antenna on top.

Giorgio Filiputti. The object had approximately the shape of a disc of 4 or 5 meters diameter, 3 or 4 meters in height, topped by a cupola, it was posed on three large dark gray landing feet of approximately 1.50 meters in height and a diameter from 80 to 90 cm, slightly narrower towards the ends. They seemed made up of two sliding tubes finished by a flat disc.

David D. I was walking approximately 200 meter, when I saw a "Flying Saucer". It was standing to the left of me and has three legs. All around it were colored lights. At the bottom were stairs and illuminated windows.

"They drew classical shapes, as you can see. A sphere or a disc, resting on four legs. And indeed we found imprints in the ground," pointed out Dr. Yuri Lozovtsev.

Upon arrival they found a cylindrical object, about 60 by 40 feet in diameter with four hydraulic legs, two of which had been damaged on landing causing the object to rest on a 30 degree angle.

Kelly Cahill. Inside that semicircle was a triangular formation of three points by 6 meters apart which corespond with the tripod configuration drawn by several eye witnesses.
The disk was resting on the ground on three metallic leg-like structures and had blinking red-pink lights spaced around its circumference.

Lech Chacinski. There were three rows of individually-colored "windows" across the upper half of the UFO and three sets of 5m long, girder-like legs, each set ending in two separate round feet which apparently stabilized the UFO on the uneven ground near the top of the hill. [Lech is not absolutely certain that these "feet" were actually touching the ground.]
