Philip Parker. Their plane was flying at about 1,000 feet as they circled the lake near the McGuire Nuclear Station, when they noticed three "bright objects" to their right. Pilot Mayhew gave his plane full throttle and they rose barely high enough to escape the UFOs, which were flying in formation 100 feet below them. Unnerved, as he was Parker was able to take one photograph of the three circular UFOs above Lake Norman.
A pilot had seen a round, glowing object near the Northern Hemispsere's largest power plant at Niagara Falls. Blackouts.
Spherical UFO was seen hovering over Clay power substation in Syracuse, New York. Blackouts.
Henrico County Sheriff A.D. "Toby" Mathews. "I happened to look up and there was that UFO right above the cornfield, it was just hovering right up above the power lines" about 200 feet in the air, Mathews said.

In the late summer of 1968 at 2 a.m. a married couple(names confidential on file) reported seeing a dome-topped UFO with "windows" and odd-colored lights(yellow, blue and red fixed together) flying near their Lake Norman home. The UFO was about two to three car lengths wide and made a soft hum- ming sound. A "metal rod" came from the bottom edge of the UFO, as it moved down nearby power lines, almost touching the wires as it followed the power lines.
Almiro Martins De Freitas. As the power plant is considered a national security location employees are carefully screened and investigated. Only highly qualified personnel are employed.

In March, 1975 at Lexington, South Carolina Mr. and Mrs. Jim Richardson were driving near the Lake Murray Hydroelectric Plant's Saluda Dam, when a brillant "spotlight" came on and illuminated the interior of their car. They noticed the UFO looked "like two pie pans" put together and had a dome on top.

Bill Pecha, Jr. and his family observe three objects. One of the objects is focusing a light on electrical transformers and the air around it, is electrified, causing Pecha to feel the charge. The objects follow Pecha and his family in their truck...a part-time police dispatcher, Elaine McGowan also observes the object, which was giving off a humming sound.
Two police officers report a triangular object with red and blue lights hovering next to the PGE power generating plant.
Police officer observes a large, cigar-shaped object, flying over two private aircraft near the Pacific Gas & Electric plant. Object had fins on both ends.
Gary “D”, the primary witness, then began walking toward the two oval objects that were now over some power lines five to six hundred feet away.
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Ruppe. It was orange-yellow in color and made a high-pitched sound as it crossed the power lines and moved east in direction of the Cherokee Nuclear Station. The UFO was seen for approximately five minutes and was estimated to be about 20 feet long and 8 to 10 feet in height.
Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant. The UFO, according to the witnesses was huge in size, diamond-shaped and approximately 450 feet in length. It was first white, then changed to blue to red to green to amber in color.
Guards at the Indian Point nuclear power plant on the Hudson River, New York sighted a dark disc-shaped object with lights, 30 feet in diameter, that stayed over the nuclear reactor for 15 minutes. It finally flew away toward the northeast.

Twelve security guardes watched as a boomerang-shaped object hovered for more than ten minutes directly above one of the reactors of the Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant.
A very large boomerang-shaped UFO hovered only 300 feet over an active vent of the Indian Point Nuclear Plant cooling tower for 15 minutes on the Hudson River in Westchester County, New York. Several guards came forward to report the incident, reporting there were a total of eleven witnesses to the UFO at the plant that night, and that the security guards broke out shotguns. A big cover-up by government officials was claimed.

"It seemed very brazen. It acted like it didn't care who saw it."

Tim Todd. Another factor about that night was the route the craft was traveling, right down my driveway. My power lines go right down the drive and sometime that winter I had to call Edison out. They told me that the wires were completely bare, " no insulation at all," and had to replace them, including the transformer. I am not sure if it relates, but I have read stories about these craft using power lines.

T. Roy Dutton, Sunday, 19th April --- At 21:30 BST we momentarily lost all power here. The lights went out, TV shut down, etc. -- just for a split second. I rushed to a window overlooking Torbay and saw that the power hadn't returned to a large area of Torquay. The next night the incident was well covered on local TV and in the local press, as the cutting shows. On TV we were shown a close-up of a completely burnt-out large item with insulators (transformer?) at a Newton Abbot sub-station, which had mysteriously exploded. As far as I know at present, the cause of the explosion is still a complete mystery to SWEB (South West Electricity Board). However --- could it be just a coincidence that the first item on the attached processed output sheet shows the occurrence to have been, suspiciously, at the anticipated time of departure of a visiting craft from 'out there'? (Track no. 7). If so, coincidences seem to have come in twos within a period of just a few days.
There was a power plant nearby it was right next to a school in surburban area.
